Conflict in Democratic Republic of Congo has destroyed homes, hospitals and schools. The Eastern region of the country has been most severely affected with 80% of families having to flee their homes. This has disrupted children’s education and, since many qualified people have left the country, there is a significant lack of skilled teachers.
Children in Crisis is improving the quality of primary school education in the remote high plateau region of South Kivu in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
