Support from grant-makers represents an essential component of Children in Crisis’ impact on education poverty in the neglected or rural communities of countries which have been affected by conflicts such as the DR Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone or Afghanistan. Together with our funding partners, we bring a unique value to international development work through innovative educational programmes that enable children to exercise their rights to basic education, with particular attention to girls and women’s education, child protection and communities’ improved livelihoods.
The most useful grants are unrestricted and allow us to use the funding where it is needed most. Grants can also be restricted to geographic areas, to specific programmes, or to themes such as child rights & child protection, quality education (school building and teacher training) or girls & women empowerment.
We are committed to providing high quality information to grant-making trusts and foundations including detailed proposals to fit your area of interest and regular update reports once you have funded our work.
