By working in partnership with Children in Crisis, your RAG can help children in post-conflict countries like Sierra Leone and Afghanistan to start a journey. A journey that may one day see the children we help studying at a university or college enjoying the educational and social opportunities that you are enjoying right now.

Worldwide, a staggering 72 million children are still denied an education.

Children in Crisis works to provide children in some of the world’s poorest countries with the educational opportunities they need to transform their lives. Just as university is about more than attending lectures, our belief is that education is more than just learning. We believe that education is the best possible route out of poverty and that it can transform families, communities and over time, even nations.

One in six children do not have the chance to go to school. We are working to address this situation and through our supporters we are able to offer these children hope for a brighter future and the opportunity to change their lives. We currently work in 5 countries, supporting local organisations to ensure the needs of these children are met, whether this is through building and equipping schools, training teachers or providing classes for street working children.

RAG is a simple concept, if you raise you can give. Along with Children in Crisis, your RAG fundraising can give these children a chance to raise themselves out of poverty to start a journey.

We want to be in partnership with your university, together supporting work that will have an immediate impact on the lives of hundreds of children.

How can you help?

			Pub Quiz - A Pub Quiz is a fun and popular way to raise money. We find having an entry donation and then holding a raffle the most successful method of fundraising.
			Fashion Show - Organising a charity fashion show is no walk on the runway. The result however is certain to be an extremely rewarding, glamorous and entertaining experience for everyone involved.
			Jailbreak - Jailbreak has quickly become an established and recognised annual event within the student fundraising calendar. Fundraising for Children in Crisis means every penny will go towards improving the education of children around the world.
