Bupa Great South Run - 26th October 2008

The Great South Run taking place along the South coast of Portsmouth is without a doubt the most popular 10 mile road running event. With its scenic route and flat running conditions, the race is ideal for both beginners and experienced runners. There are two ways that you can join the Children in Crisis running team.

1) To secure a guaranteed entry place with Children in Crisis you will need to fill in the Children in Crisis Great South Run application form, which you can download (or if you prefer, call Caroline Barnes on 020 7627 1040 and we will send or email you a copy). We do ask that our guaranteed runners raise a minimum sponsorship of £300 and pay a (non refundable) registration fee of £30 which will cover the cost of the place. If you are successful in securing a place we will contact you with further information.

2) You could also try and secure your own running place by applying to the Great South Run organisers direct. If you do this, please then send us your own place runners application form. Public entries for the Great South Run 2008 are not open yet but you can find out more information about the ballot at www.greatrun.org.

Runners whose applications reflect their commitment to the charity and fundraising efforts will be prioritised when confirming places.
