Class V2 at Tudor Grange School in Solihull very kindly chose to fundraise for Children in Crisis at school.
The students aged between 12 and 15 years old came up with the unique idea to design postcards relating to the work of Children in Crisis, which were then framed and sold to their parents at the Tudor Grange School Summer Fayre.
The students raised a fantastic £81.48 for Children in Crisis.
“We wanted to work as a class to organise our own charity event in school. We chose to support 'Children in Crisis' because we felt it would be good to support something that is about children’s education.
We are lucky to be able to come to school every day, but some children around the world are not as lucky as us.
Once we had chosen our charity, we designed postcards with a picture of our choice. We then gave them to our teachers so we could frame them all. We sold the framed pictures to parents at parents' evening and then to people at our summer fayre.
We worked well together as a team and were proud of what we raised to help 'Children In Crisis'.”
Matt O'Neill, Class V2
