
In many of the countries in which we work, children are exposed to sickness, disease and drug misuse. In response to this, we are training teachers, children and communities about relevant issues from HIV and AIDS to the facts about drugs and alcohol in China, Sierra Leone, United Kingdom, Italy, and Ukraine. Equipped with the right information children are empowered to make positive and safe decisions about their lives.
Children in Crisis is working in remote Tibetan communities where there is little access to healthcare. We are training young women to become midwives, up to 50,000 people are already benefiting from their skills.
Children in Crisis is working in the city of Kharkov to deliver drug and alcohol education to children in primary schools and the first two years of secondary schools.
