The London Marathon – 26th April 2009

The Flora London Marathon is the world's largest marathon. Could you rise to the challenge and get through those grueling 26.2 miles, having raised funds to give children a real second chance in life?

There are two ways that you can enter the London Marathon - by securing yourself a place in the ballot, or by applying for one of our Gold Bond places.

2009 Ballot

This year the ballot will open on Sunday 26th April at noon. Click here to enter online through the Marathon website.

If you have secured your own place in the ballot we would love you to join the Children in Crisis London Marathon Team, and help raise funds to support our work in the UK and overseas. You will get the same benefits as the Gold Bond runners. Please let us know by downloading and filling in our own place runners form so we can provide you with the benefits!

Gold Bond Places

Children in Crisis has a number of secured places in the London Marathon - known as 'Gold Bond' places. We pay for these places, and ask for a minimum level of sponsorship. We have a limited number of places, so if you would like to apply for a place, please do so as soon as possible.

You will need to fill in the Children in Crisis Gold Bond Place application form, which you can download by clicking here (or if you prefer, call Caroline Barnes on 020 7627 1040 and we will send or email you a copy), and if you are successful in securing a place we contact you with further information.
