Under 18s Running Events

Leave those adults in your dust and run alongside other youth runners, all in aid of Children in Crisis.

Below are just a few examples of the under 18s running events that you can take part in for Children in Crisis:

	BUPA JUNIOR AND MINI GREAT YORSHIRE RUN Date: Sunday 5th September 2010 Location: Sheffield City Centre Distance: 1.5km and 3km Age categories: 3 – 8 years, 9 – 14 years
	BUPA JUNIOR AND MINI GREAT NORTH RUN Date: Saturday 18th September 2010 Location: Newcastle Distance: 1mile and 3miles Age categories: 3 – 8 years, 9 – 11years, 12 – 16 years
	BUPA JUNIOR AND MINI GREAT SOUTH RUN Date: Saturday 23rd October 2010 Location: Southsea, Portsmouth Distance: 1.5km and 2.5km Age categories: 3-8 years, 9 – 14 years
	BUPA JUNIOR GREAT WINTER RUN Date: Saturday 8th January 2011 Location: Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Distance: 2.5km Age categories: 7 – 13 years
	BUPA JUNIOR AND MINI GREAT EDINBURGH RUN Date: Sunday 1st May 2011 Location: Edinburgh City Centre Distance: 1.5km and 2.5km Age categories: 3 - 8 years, 9 – 13 years
	PULSE 3K Date: Sunday 10th October 2010 Location: Hyde Park, London Distance: 3km Age categories: 11 – 16 years
	VIRGIN MINI LONDON MARATHON Date: Sunday 17th April 2011 Location: Central London Distance: 3miles Age categories: 11 – 17 years

When you run for children in crisis, we will provide you with:

• fundraising tips and ideas
• a full fundraising pack
• sponsorship and pledge forms
• your very own Children in Crisis challenge vest
• a dedicated fundraiser to provide help and advice
• materials such as balloons, posters or collection boxes to use in your fundraising
• a congratulatory certificate and Children in Crisis medal

Most importantly in choosing to run and fundraise for Children in Crisis, you will be helping us to provide some of the world's most vulnerable children with an education.
