How you can run for Children in Crisis in the Virgin london marathon 2010

The Virgin London Marathon is the world's largest marathon. Could you rise to the challenge and get through those grueling 26.2 miles, having raised funds to give children a real second chance in life?

There are two ways that you can apply for a place in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon.

We have no more gold bond places for 2010.

If you are one of the lucky ones who has been successful in the 2010 official entry ballot, then we'd love to have you as part of the Children in Crisis team!

Ballot Places

We recommend that you firstly apply through the ballot to secure your own place in the 2010 London Marathon. Please click here to enter now.If you have secured your own place in the ballot we would love you to join the Children in Crisis London Marathon Team, and help raise funds to support our work in the UK and overseas. You will get the same benefits as the Gold Bond runners. Please let us know by downloading and filling in our own place runners form so we can provide you with the benefits! Please send your application form by either emailing Lucyp@childrenincrisis.org (or if you prefer, call Lucy Porter on 0207 627 1040 and we will send or email you a copy.)

Gold Bond Places

Children in Crisis has a number of secured places in the London Marathon - known as 'Gold Bond' places. We pay for these places, and ask for a minimum level of sponsorship. We have a limited number of places, so if you would like to apply for a place, please do so as soon as possible!

You will need to fill in the Children in Crisis Gold Bond Place application form, which you can download (or if you prefer, call Lucy Porter on 020 7627 1040 and we will send or email you a copy), and if you are successful in securing a place we contact you with further information. 

As a member of the Children in Crisis London Marathon running team you will receive constant support from our challenges team with fundraising advice and training, fundraising materials to help you reach your sponsorship target and a brand spanking new Children in Crisis running vest to sport on the big day!
