Education in Schools

In DRC, Liberia and Afghanistan we train teachers, teacher trainers and educators and build, rehabilitate and equip schools to ensure children are taught by confident, knowledgeable and motivating teachers in an environment which is safe, secure and properly equipped.

Afghanistan

Children in Crisis is training teachers and social workers and setting up education centres in Kabul. We work with the displaced Kuchi community and raise awareness of the rights of children. So far over 10,000 children have benefited.

Democratic Republic of Congo

Children in Crisis is the only NGO in the remote high plateau region of DRC. We are building 5 schools and training 400 teachers, allowing over 1440 children to benefit from improved access to education year on year.

Liberia

Children in Crisis is working to rebuild schools and train teachers in post war Liberia. Over the next four years we hope that over 10,000 children will benefit from improved skills and employment opportunities.
