Leave A Legacy

Leaving a legacy to Children in Crisis will be an opportunity to lend your support to the education of children around the world for the long term. Your gift will help to transform their lives, their families and communities. However big or small your gift is, you can be assured that it will give children from the poorest communities a chance to change their lives for the better.

Wedding Donations

Have you already got a toaster and a kettle? Why not celebrate your wedding by inviting your guests to make a donation to Children in Crisis. Guests can send in a message of goodwill to the couple, which will be compiled into an album along with photographs of children from the programme that has been supported.

Share Giving

Giving shares is the simplest and most tax-effective way of donating to us. Not only can you claim full income tax relief on the market value of the shares and any associated costs such as broker's fees. For example if you are a higher rate taxpayer and you donate £1,000 worth of shares to a charity, then you will pay £400 less in income tax that year. Additionally, no capital gains tax (CGT) will apply to any increase in the value of the shares donated to charity. A gift of shares allows us to keep our administration costs low, meaning that we can raise valuable funds even more efficiently.
