Children in Crisis is entering an exciting new phase in its development having joined forces with Street Child.
Like Children in Crisis, Street Child focuses on education in the world's toughest places: the charity currently operates in North-East Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Nepal and Liberia and its work complements and enhances the vision and values of Children in Crisis. By joining together we believe that we will be strong and even more dynamic in fulfilling our shared mission of helping more children to education.
The newly merged organisation will be headed up to Tom Dannatt, CEO and Founder of Street Child. Sarah, Duchess of York is the Founder Patron and remains a very potent and engaged force within the newly merged charity. The Duchess has recently been to visit Street Child's projects in Nepal and you can read about the trip and her excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead for the new organisations in this article which appeared in The Evening Standard.
