Children in Crisis is entering an exciting new phase in its development having joined forces with Street Child.
Like Children in Crisis, Street Child focuses on education in the world's toughest places: the charity currently operates in North-East Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Nepal and Liberia and its work complements and enhances the vision and values of Children in Crisis. By joining together we believe that we will be strong and even more dynamic in fulfilling our shared mission of helping more children to education.
"Street Child is one of the UK’s fastest growing charities, and the impact it has had in just a few years, reaching nearly 200,000 children in some of the world’s toughest places, is extraordinary. I love Street Child’s ambition."
In July, Sarah, Duchess of York wrote an amazing article in the Evening Standard announcing the exciting news that Children In Crisis have joined forces with Street Child. This is an exciting new phase of Street Child's journey and expands our impact into Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo - allowing us to help more children in the world's toughest places to go to school and learn.
